Graduation Cohort

About Graduation Cohort

The Graduation Cohort, implemented in 2009 by NM Public Education Department (PED), consists of students who were first-time freshmen and graduated by August 1 of their 4th year. The cohort uses a Shared Accountability model, holding schools and districts accountable for the time the student spent in each school. The 4-year rate is used by PED for annual school and district accountability.
