Here are reports on National Bike to School Day held at a number of LCPS elementary schools. National Bike Day was May 7. Because LCPS had so many events – 12 out of the 21 total scheduled around the state, schools held them Tuesday-Friday, May 6-9.

Fourth-grade students at Hermosa Heights Elementary School are seeing plants grow in a new way. With funding received from the LCPS Foundation to purchase two aero-hydroponic growing systems, these students are tracking the data on growth between traditional, in-the-ground gardening system and an air and water system (aero-hydroponic).
