The mission of the Accountability, Assessment and Research Department is to provide accurate and timely information and analyses that support continuous improvement of student learning and achievement.

  • Provide required data and reports to the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED)
    • District Accountability Report
    • Dropout Report
    • Quality of Education Survey (QES)
  • Conduct the system-wide and state mandated testing programs
    • Training
    • Reporting
    • Provide schools with data to inform instruction
  • Provide Support
    • Schools
    • District departments
    • Educational Plan for Student Success
  • Manage the approval process for requests to conduct research
  • Assist with survey research
  • Survey design and creation of forms
  • Analysis and reports
