The Science Education Alliance (SEA) Science Advisor program is a schools-community partnership strengthening mathematics and science instruction. SEA participating agencies provide scientists, mathematicians, engineers and technologists who are professional resources for teachers and role models for children.
A SCIAD (Science Advisor) is a volunteer with interest or expertise in science, math, or technology who is willing to work with children in classrooms and/or serve as resource for their teachers.
Most importantly, you serve our community as a role model for the students and a valuable resource for the teachers.
