American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Education funds provided through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) provide a unique opportunity to jump start school reform and improvement efforts while also saving and creating jobs and stimulating the economy. These one-time resources are intended to assist schools in improving student academic achievement. Districts have two years to obligate these funds. Las Cruces Public Schools is utilizing their ARRA funds to support 10 schools that were not eligible for Title I support under the regular entitlement grant.
