The South Central New Mexico Association for the Gifted is set to host it’s quarterly meeting and membership drive, Thursday, May 17 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Arrowhead Park Early College High School, Building 8.
The event will feature a membership drive and a discussion about summer activities for gifted students. The event will also provide parents with an opportunity to network with other parents and teachers involved with the gifted program. Refreshments will be served and door prizes will be given out.
According to the association’s website, the organization was created to organize parents, students and educators in South Central New Mexico to learn about and create support for Gifted Education. The organization’s primary focus is early identification, training teachers and parents, and supporting our gifted students.
The South Central New Mexico Association for the Gifted is an affiliate of New Mexico Association for the Gifted (NMAG). To register for the event, visit: http://bit.ly/SCNMAGMeetingRegistration.
