Employee Holiday Message from the Superintendent
Dear LCPS Employees,
As 2017 draws to a close, I reflect on the dedication that so many talented employees bring to our students each day. Whether you work in food service, transportation, safety and security, clerical, support, maintenance, custodial, administration, educational assistant support, or as a classroom teacher, your hard work is key to successfully educating the children of our community. The entire Executive Cabinet and LCPS Leadership Team recognize your efforts over the fall semester to serve, monitor, and teach over 24,000 students with care and commitment. We sincerely thank you for all you do.
During this holiday season, the Executive Cabinet and I encourage you to spend time with family, relax, and enjoy your holiday and religious traditions. If you are so inclined, take in a bowl game, compliments of a generous benefactor who has offered free Aggie bowl tickets to all LCPS employees.
I offer a special thank you to our friends at CSEC-Las Cruces and President Valdespino as well as NEA-Las Cruces and President Emeritus Hartman and the newly appointed President Alberson.
The Leadership Team and I are honored to support you each day as we serve our students and community. Collectively, we believe in a transparent administration with continuous support in a nurturing, friendly, and responsive atmosphere. As we move into 2018, we look forward to working along side you to continue our good work and provide a safe and positive learning environment for our students.
Yours truly in leadership,
Dr. Greg Ewing, Superintendent
