A total of 14 students and staff members from throughout the district are currently using their theatrical talents to put on the Las Cruces Community Theatre’s production of “Annie” the musical.

The LCPS students and staff members featured in the production include: Janet Beatty-Payne (Director) speech-language pathologist at Monte Vista Elementary School, Vanessa Dabovich (Asst. Director) teacher at Sierra Middle School, Tatiana Garzon (Annie) 6th grader at Lynn Middle School, Monte Womble (Daddy Warbucks) counselor at Oñate High School, Mia Ayon (Pepper) 7th grader at Picacho Middle School, Heidi Brown (July) 8th grader at Camino Real Middle School, Kayla Bradford (Tessie) 1st grader at East Picacho Elementary School, Eva Cullen (Sadie) 9th grader at Centennial High School, Samantha Erlinda Saiz (Rosie) 5th grader at Fairacres Elementary School, Maya Bradford (Maisy) 3rd grader at East Picacho Elementary School, KayLee Stevenson (Lulu) 3rd grader at Monte Vista Elementary School, Chloe Morris (Ellie) 5th grader at Mesilla Elementary School, Mike Cruz (Bert Healy/Chorus) teacher at Centennial High School. In addition to the LCPS students and staff members, the production will also feature, Mia Berkson (Molly) 4th grader at John Paul Taylor Academy.

Performance dates for the musical are Dec. 15 and 16 at 8 p.m.; Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 16 and 17 at 2 p.m. at the Las Cruces Community Theatre, 313 N. Main Street.
