East Picacho Elementary School (EPES) is once again inviting families and community members to enjoy carnival games, food trucks, a haunted house, hayrides, and live music by Ghetto Blaster at the school’s annual Fall Festival, Friday, Oct. 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. at East Picacho Elementary, 4450 N. Valley Drive.

Admission costs for the event are $3 per person or $10 per family (immediate family only), before Oct. 20, and $4 per person and $15 per family (immediate family only) the day of the event. Several of the activities will also require activity tickets, which can be purchased for $1 per pair of tickets.

“The festival helps provide funding for school activities and it’s a great way to bring the community together for a night of family fun,” said EPES Principal Nubia Tarazona.

The festival will also feature a canned food drive to support Roadrunner Food Bank and Casa de Peregrinos. Anyone who brings in a canned good item will receive one free activity ticket, Tarazona said.

All of the booths are made and run by staff members, parents and community volunteers. EPE would like to thank Hubbard’s Music, Enoch Plumbing, MMJ’s Pawn Shop and Cemex for sponsoring the festival.
