TLC Hosts Board Certification Sessions

The LCPS Teaching and Learning Center (TLC)—formerly known as the PDC—will host a National Board Certification information/support session, Wednesday, Sept. 20 at 4:15 p.m. 505 S. Main St., Suite 400 (next to the MVD). The information session is open to all teachers interested in beginning the process of attaining National Board Certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

The hour-long session will feature a presentation about the certification process and a question and answer session. All attendees are asked to bring laptop computers. Attendees are also encouraged to review,

“We will be looking at the process and talking about the commitment,” said LCPS Content Specialist Chris Woods. “We will also be continuing the work with those  who have already begun this process.”

The session is part of a series of monthly sessions designed to support teachers pursuing board certification.
