Doña Ana County Animal Control and Codes Enforcement, along with Planning and Vector Control personnel, will be going door-to-door in neighborhoods on and near Holman Road on Thursday, Feb. 16, to offer education on weed control, pest control, animal ordinances and other potential violations.

The Animal Control and Environmental Survey (ACES) project aims to educate residents on how to come into compliance with county ordinances and beautify the area where they live. In recent years, several ACES projects have been done countywide.

In conjunction with South Central Solid Waste Authority, a roll-off container and a tire shredder will be made available to the community from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Feb. 25, as part of the community clean-up initiative.
